Reverend Kimberli A. Meadows
Director of Communications
Reverend Kimberli A. Meadows was ordained in September of 2022, and licensed to preach the Gospel in November of 2013 by Rev. Dr. Duane T. Kay at the First Baptist Church, Inc. of North Brentwood.
Her earned educational degrees include:
- Bachelor of Arts (BA. Journalism), 1987, West Georgia College, Carrollton, Georgia; and Master of Divinity (M.Div with Honors), 2017, Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington, DC.
Before accepting the call to the preaching ministry, she spent 25 years as a broadcast television producer, and media and public relations manager for national nonprofits. She has garnered many awards including an Emmy® Award from the Capital Emmy Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
She is a full-time pastoral staff member at FBCNB and the Director of Communications. In this role, she is responsible for the creation of promotional and informative communication strategies for all FBCNB initiatives. She is also a gifted writer, producer, video editor and director. She organized and leads the Media Ministry, which is a dynamic, group comprised of audio, video and lighting technicians; writers; marketing specialists; graphic designers; website managers; technical support specialists; social media communicators; and display coordinators.
Reverend Kim is grateful for God’s grace in using her to serve others. She is very passionate about winning souls for Christ, and is proud to carry on her family heritage, which is rooted with servants of the gospel, who faithfully serve(d) in church leadership.
She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and enjoys singing, writing poetry and plays, directing stage and television productions, travelling, spending time with family and friends, and baking.
She has been married to Deacon Terry Meadows for 29 years, and they are blessed to be the parents of three, creative and talented adults, and the grandparents of three, wonderful grandchildren.
One of her favorite scriptures is Isaiah 41:10 (NRSV) “Do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.”
